In deployments, guest conversations run on a property-controlled WhatsApp Business number. Data roles, retention, deletion and portability are defined in each property agreement before go-live; HotelCite minimises sensitive information in logs, does not monitor conversations for emergencies, and deletes its copies on termination as the agreement provides. Guests are always told they are talking to an automated information service.
